One of the hardest struggles I come across as a mom is coming up with healthy, creative and tasty meals for my toddler. Overall I’m pretty lucky since she’s a great eater but I still struggle to satisfy her with my food all the time. Some days she eats everything off her plate and other days I can’t even get a single bite in her mouth. The worst is when she takes about eight bites then decides she doesn’t like it and spits it out! Like what? Could you not tell from the first, second, third or fourth bite you didn’t like it? Must be the mind of a toddler. She does this funny thing where she shakes her head and blows raspberries when she doesn’t want something, she makes me laugh lots!
When making Jades lunches I like to have three things for her, a main, fruit and vegetable. I put all of her food in my favorite plates by Munchkin that I get at Walmart for only $7 for three of them. I love these plates because it separates each food into its own section.

Since my daughter is just over one I still like to stick to easily edible and softer foods. She loves food so much that she wants to stuff as much as she can and as fast as she can in her mouth so I try to stay away from foods she can easily choke on. All these foods she seems to enjoy (for now) and are great healthy meals your toddler will enjoy!
